ANDREW ROSA IS A 16 YR. OLD FROM SELDEN, A JR FIREFIGHTER, STRUCK BY A CAR WHILE RIDING HIS BICYCLE
On May 17,2010 Andrew Rosa was riding his bicycle home when he was tragically hit by a car,resulting in Severe Traumatic Brain Injury, and multiple bone fractures.He has undergone multiple brain surgeries. Andrew struggles to recover and requires 24/7 nursing care at St. Mary's Children Hospital in Bayside ,NY.The Rosa's would like to bring Andrew home to make this happen, their house will need major modifications to accommodate Andrew and medical equipment. Andrew will need a custom Handicap van to be able to transport him him to Doctor's appointments & Physical Therapy. The family has incurred major expenses both medically and personally.
